Have installed CDROM NLM and Mounted Drive from Server. Server indicates that it is mounted and available to all users. Unable to "see" the volume from any workstation. Appreciate any suggestions or thoughts -

I assume that when you type "volumes" at the server it shows. Maybe a rights issue. Try logging in as someone who has object rights to the server. Is it an IDE or SCSI. Until Netware5, I always had problems with IDE cdroms on a Novell server.

It shows under volumes. Have logged in as net admin with full rights and still can't see the drive. It is an IDE Drive and it mounted and built directory (on the server). Any additional ideas would be appreciated.

Go to start run and type the unc ie \\server_name\Name_of_Volume. if this works then create a volume object in Nwadmin for that cd.

If you are trying to see it as an NDS object you need to first go to the server:
:LOAD INSTALL
-DIRECTORY OPTIONS
-UPDATE MOUNTED VOLUMES INTO THE DIRECTORY
Requires putting in the Administrator password.
(Those may not be the exact words) Then they will show up as NDS objects.
Also IDE CDs often do not work.
