cdrom jumper setting in external mode

hi, i attempt to run an aopen cdrw 4048 in an external firewire case. how shall i set the ide jumper ??

The setup for the firewire case should have instructions, the CD-RW or hard drive probably won't have them unless it came with the case. You might try Master. That's what I had to do with my CD-ROM in a parallel port case.
