cdrecord

Hi,
I have a chrp machine (6H1) running AIX 5.2-ML1.
I am trying to write to the the DVD-RAM with cdrecord but no luck.
The cdrecord that came with the system (1.9.4) says that the DVD isn't supported. I compiled cdrecord 2.0 but when i run it, it reports a SCSI IOCTL error.

anyone have any ideas?

please read the docu:

/opt/freeware/doc/cdrecord-1.9/README

and look for the following:
