Hi all,

These will probably be two very simple questions but nonetheless I would be greatful if you can help.

1) Is it possible to do a CD to CD copy using cdrecord?

2) If it is possible can you give me a command-line example to help me get my head around this.

3) If it isn't possible can you recommend any other software which can be used for this job?

OK, I lie. There were three questions but I'm sure they will be quick ones to answer.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure some GUI like XCDRoast has this support.

It's a two command line effort.

first, use mkisofs to create the rip to an .ISO locally, then cdrecord to burn it.

This is what the GUI does behind the scenes.

You could script this in bash to make it one command if you are an efficiency nut
