Option 81C, Rls 25.30 using OTM. OTM is getting the CDR data via ip. Can CDR also be sent to a serial tty port (need to add a 2nd CDR box, don't ask please). Is this possible?

if you try to define a second tty with cty as the user, my switch, 81c running 25.40.. you get a err code saying "pre assigned user".. i have a tty dumping to a pc serial port and saving file, at midnight, then it does a tftp to a server for users to access for different accounting functions.

How did you setup OTM to retrieve real time cdr records from the PBX? I have telecom billing in OTM and when I try to start data collection with the sl1old.col or sl1new.col scripts, it comes back and says that this script does not support ethernet connections. Also, what should I have in the username and password sections of the telecom billing setup? I don't have to use a username when I log in to the terminal.

Any ideas?

@teekow:

Set the collection to file and browse to: x:\nortel\common data\site name\system name\ and select the image.can't remember file.

To get this file you need to:
- setup the PABX to store the data in the buffers (LD 117 => ENL BUF TRF/CDR/ALL) and LD 15 -> CDR -> BKI yes)
- Start DBA from the OTM Navigator and create a new session.

The file will not appear directly is't updated every so much minutes..
