CDR set up

Hi all,

Anyone set up and have the CDR working? I thought I had this down but apparently I don't. I have a BCM 3.6 and have programmed everything as it should be, it just won't give me anything.

Remote user and password are the same as one used to log into the FTP Server

Compress Files: No

When I try to do a transfer immediately it just flat does nothing but look at me!

The system does not give any indication that it is doing anything. The only way you know it has transfered is in the tab last completed transfer you will get the date and time.

I would start with the basics like check you can ping the FTP server from the maintenance page.

What OS is being used on the computer that the CDR is installed on.

I have heard of problems with Windows XP and more stable with
Windows 2000 Pro.


There are only 2 seasons in Canada, Golf and Snowmobile season.
 
I can log into the FTP server just fine. Others can log into it as well.

I am running Windows XP on the machine that the server is on...

If any one has a link to the "CDR patch" I would be most appreciative.

I don't think it is a problem with your FTP server. It may be a problem with your CDR User accounts. You may want to set the polling method to Pull and use the tools to verify that the data is actually being created and delivered properly.

Hi Stockman16

You seem like you have alot of experience on the BCM with CDR. I was wondering would you have any more information on how the BCM constructs the stats for the hunt groups on the BCM under the diagnostics-----service metrics-----telephony services-----huntgroup (01-30). It gives you information like how many calls,abandon calls etc. If someone knows how to get this info of the BCM into a form or report. Or if there is some software that will do this. A link or some info would be greatly appreciated.

The hunt group information you requested is available. However not until 3.7. You may want to check with RSI. They have a module for Enhanced BCM Reporting...at the address I listed above (nortelcompatibleproducts).
