I would like to get CDR Records on calls that do not get answered. If I make a call and the called party answers I get a call record but not if they do not answer. They have an Option 61c with Release 3.0 software. It's a union issue for call outs for overtime.

look at the cdr options in load 15...in 21 prt cdr, not sure which one needs to be on, are you looking at raw data, most cdr software has a grace time before it records a call, that's used for hotel records, gives the called party time to answer before the timer starts..

I use a call acctg software pkg. but I have disconnnected that and I am looking at raw data from the SDI port. If the called party does not answer I never get a record. I printed out the CDR block from ld 21 and I didn,t see anything there that would do the trick. I thought maybe it might be in the RDB.

B record (Abandoned call)
B records (Abandoned call) are output when the Time to Answer feature is
active and New Format CDR is selected for CDR TTY output
(FCDR = NEW in LD 17). B records are only output to CDR Teletype
devices.
B records are output when:
• an unanswered incoming trunk disconnects and ABAN = YES in LD 16
• Internal CDR is equipped and an unanswered internal station disconnects
from another internal station which has ABDA class of service
With the feature CDR on Busy Tone, a B record is produced when the
originator of an incoming or internal call disconnects after receiving a busy
tone. The CDR on Busy Tone B record information is displayed on the third
line of the CDR B record when the New CDR format (FCDR) is configured.

This is the only info I found on logging unanswered calls.

I found it... It is in the RDB LD 16. Feature OAN should be set to "no" It was a "Yes"..
OAL -CDR for outgoing calls should be "yes"
OAN -CDR for answered calls only. set to "No"
Changing OAN to a "No" applies Reverse Battery for Answered calls and Trunk Seizure for unanswered calls
I found it in the CDR NTP- 553-2631-100 pg 35 Table 7

glad you post the find, couldn't locate the prompt
