I am working through CDR records in order to look at utilization. We run 25.40b on an 11c. We only have 2 DIDs at present, but are going to add more. One (our main number) goes through to a Meridian Mail menu and I see the CDR data when this number is called. The second DID, which rings on just a specific DN (mine), is not generating any CDR output if someone calls that number. Can someone indicate what it takes to get CDR here. It would really be nice to see the number dialled but I haven't found it yet. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

CDR is turned on from the route and assigned an output device in CDB. Print your DID Route and CDR from LD 21.

I suspect that if you are getting the one you should get the other assuming they come in the same route.

I would turn on CTY to my local terminal TTY and add to CDR port info in CDB. Then, make a call, trace it to verify route and trunk info. Then release call. you should see call record and can verify data.

you "might" be looking at acd stats on the mail port as opposed to cdr, check user on that port, as stated cty will indicate cdr if cdr=yes in the rdb

Thanks guys. You're great! I was looking at acd stats on the mail port. I now have it on CDR_DATA and am monitoring it on TTY port 1 and do see calls going into the DID. Of course I have another question. :)

Our main number goes directly to a meridian mail menu. From there there are options to press 2 for support, 3 for billing, etc. These are defined in mail as CL 411, CL 511 respectively where 411, 511 are DNs shared by separate groups of people on Key 1. If someone picks up I get their prime DN in the call record which is good. If nobody answers, the caller is directed to voice mail and the CDR data shows up with I believe an MCID/ACID. This doesn't tell me which group (i.e. CL 411, CL 511 etc) was being called and did not answer. Is there a way to get this information from CDR?

While I am at it is it possible to have the message light show up on each of the phones with the Key 1 411 DN for example. The key is defined MCR 411 on each phone. At present I can only have one phone's message light go on by defining the MWI DN for 411 to be the prime DN of one of the phones. Or is there another (I dare not say easier) way to do this?
