CDR Primary Link Down, Reason Code: Primary Ext. Changed

I'm not quite sure what this means....could someone help? I've been asked to look into why this primary CDR Link is and has been down for over a week. I've checked everything, all the steps of the initial programming and everything looks fine. I can ping the call accounting box so it's not off line. Not sure what else to look at. Assistance and input would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the extension for the data-module got changed somehow. Check your CDR setup and the data module extension.

Hardware platform? Definity / CM software version?

Command: display system-parameters cdr

See if the Primary Output Ext: field has a working data-module extension in it.
change it to a data-module extension with a working data-module that's connected to a collection
device.
