I am using the CDR in realtime mode to report the status of incoming calls and present CLI in a 3rd party application.

Normally the line no. column reports the trunk line on which a call has been received, however with one of my client it is always reporting the same line no, for multiple concurrent incoming calls. I have been advised that this is because the ISDN30e channel no. is being reported, whereas with ISDN2 or ISDN30/DASS installations the individual line no. is reported instead.

I am not a BCM engineer, and only interface to the CDR so do not have any understanding of the internal workings of the system.

Is there a misconfiguration here, which if corrected, will report the indiviual line no.? If so, how should the system be reconfigured?

Thanks in advance.

David

If it is same number that is dialed (by the caller) the BCM processes the call on the same virtual line

You can turn on the BCM Monitor program and watch the calls come in and out in real time. If you havn;t downloaded it yet, you can download it from the BCM.

It is exactly as senk1s said the call will be presented to the extension on a target line (virtual line). It will range from 241-49x. I am surprised you did not get the same on DASS and ISDN2 if you are using DDI numbers.
