Hello,

Is it possible to get CDR data on an extension that is built as an MCR? It's programmed on 3 phones on key 3 of each set and they are asking for call data on this number. I'm running an extension detail report out of TM 4.0 and not gettinng anything. Any ideas?

Thanks.

The CDR is there, but it is booked to the KEY 00 DN of the phone that participated in the call.

By default, CDR uses the KEY 00 DN as the reference to the phone. Calls to/from all DNs used on that phone are indexed to the DN of KEY 00.

Thanks, So would it work to put the MCR on key 0 of each phone so we can pull actual statistics on that particular number?

It would be no better than what you have right now.

If my phone has ten DNs, all of the calls I participate on will be booked to my KEY 00. If all day long, I use my KEY 03 to make calls, all the CDR is there. It will just show up as coming from my KEY 00.

Whether you use KEY 00 or KEY 03, you will not be able to identify which DN made the call - you will only know how many calls each phone participated in.

Ok I understand. That makes sense. So, how can I go about isolating call records to an MCR number? I tried building an ACD with the original MCR number and then just NCFW it to a different MCR on those 3 phones and I still get nothing in the CDR records.

Thanks a lot.

If you need to isolate inbound call "count" you can use the ACD method. Then you would need to use ACD reports to see the number of calls presented to the queue.

Even if the Queue has no agents, if you set RPRT=YES, you can see the number of calls that tried to call the number.

ACD reports are not in TM.

It might be easier to give the 3 people a second phone just so you can see call volume to the number in question.
