Hi every body.
Can we use serial port on cbsap card to get cdr data ?
Thanks

Turn on the CDR to V24-1 and test using hyperterminal to see if the CDR is coming out after making calls.
If not then change the ports to V24-2 and test again.
Set the hyperterminal to be the same speed as your Assistant downloading tool

Thanks for reply.
unfortunately not work.
Cbsap has two serial port . Service port and application port.test both and didnt get any result!
(Buad rate for serial port is 9600)

No idea so, Wait until a 3000 expert answers...

Just throwing this out there - do you have your CDR set to store, or is it set to dump the data? If you have it set to store you have to toggle it to get the data to come out. It has been ages since I worked on that platform, but it should be the application port. We had one cable on it for the laptop connection and the other port was connected to a printer - the CDR stuff just printed out after every call.

It looks like you have it set up correctly. Like I said, it has been years - there may be a "master ON switch" you have to toggle in some other section to actually enable it, or it might be one of those things you have to do through one of the optisets with the big display and keyboard. You dial *95 to get started and then if I remember correctly you have to put in 31994 four times. Then you will get menus to navigate through. There were some functions, such as changing the system time, that they used to make you do thru a phone. Mine was all set up by the vendor - I'm not really sure if they had to do something to turn it on and off. Maybe you have to login through maintenance mode on Assistant E and do it through there. Sorry I don't remember more.

Try sending it out via the service port - then connect V24 to that port and use Hyperterminal to see if any output
