I have a Hotel w/option 11c and a ton of 500 sets.I have to add 4 more sets to the lineup. Is there a setting (CLS) that I have to allow/deny for CDR output? All my other sets seems to work fine but front desk says my new phones don't output any CDR data. (or their CDR collection computer doesn't log them).I suppose I should look to see how the logging is taking place (route, truck or set) but I'm almost sure it's a per set basis of logging.

any ideas?
Thanks!!

print out a copy of a phone that works and of the one that you programmed and compare the programming. That is the quickest way to find out what you are missing.

pbxphoneman,

You should be able to copy the 4 really quick, you need 4 TN's and 4 unique DN's, LD 10 or LD 20 depending on ver of software and at REQ copy (Space) 4, it will ask for TN you are to copy; LD 20
Req: cpy 4
Type: 500
CFTN: 40 1 11 4 (TN Currently in use to copy)
***************
SFMT: TNDN
TN: 116 0 11 10 (First TN) Sample TN Only
DN: 31703 (Unique DN)

TN: 116 0 11 11 (Second TN) Sample TN Only
DN: 31704 and so on. Sample DN
After you copy the 4 phones, go back to each one and change DN's for proper types SCR, SCN, Change DES.

Be sure to print copy of TN being copied and double check your work. Go to LD 43 and edd.

Good Luck,

You need to take a look at the CDR collection device. Are you passing raw CDR to a hospitality system? Is there a hospitality system? Are you doing PMS interface (Property Managment System) at this location? If you are integrating with a PMS system, your call accounting system should be passing this info onto the PMS. If the PMS is not program for these new extensions, they will not be able to run a night audit on phone usage because the PMS is not configured to handle the new numbers.

What type of call accounting are you using

I have a feeling there software just isn't picking up the new room phones.I never added any more since the new phone system was put in.
I couldn't remember how I programmed the 500 phone originally and I just wanted to make sure they sending out CDR info.Didn't remember if there was a CDRA or CDRD type entry in the CLS (something like cdr allow or deny)seems like there is always an allow/deny for everything.Anyways I think I output all trunk traffic and the CDR/PMS system picks of the room DN's and the time and number. We don't have
anything to do with the data collection.
thanks for all the replys!!!

Can you see CDR records in the RAW data, plug a lap top in or config. or new TTY to check the raw CDR data, if it is there then its a CDR system issue - do you need to tell the call loggign system about the extensions first?
