Hey guys, I have to network 2 0x32s just a regular T-1 between the 2. How do I go about setting up the CDP and do I need it. The problem I am working on is they want to use the AA at 1 site to handel all calls and to transfer the calls to site 2. Is this where you need the MCDN keycodes?

Any input would help. Thanks out there!

1st I don't believe you can do it with REG T1,if I remember right your going to need ISDN PRI

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Old Rolmen, I dont know how but it works.

Hardware: Line Programming:

Cd1-KSU: T-1 Trunk Type: E&M
Card Type: T-1 Line Type: Pool B
Lines: 001-024 Dial Mode: Tone
Disconnect Timer: 460 Prime Set: 201
Answer Timer: 2 Dstnct Rng: None
CO Fail: TIA-547A Auto privacy: Y
I/f Levels: ISDN Ans Mode: Auto
Framing: ESF Ans With DISA: N
Internal CSU: On Aux Ringer: N
CSU Line Bld: 0 Signal: Winkstart
Line Coding: B8ZS Ani Number: N
Clock Sourse: Primary

I then set up other site the same way, Then assigned Target Lines to the extentsions, put the lines in line pool B at each site, Access Site 1 8, access site 2 6. Site 1 ext. start at 201 Site 2 start at 301. Put destination codes in each system so all you do is dial the ext. #. This is how I found it. Where do I go from Here?

If you are wanting to be able to pass the centralized voicemail I believe you will need to have the pri enabler on both sites, the T-1 will work to carry the signal but what is being sent would need to be PRI info in a network mode. Look carefully at the networking explinations in the 6.0 installers guide (pg 100 plus)

you can have a private network of your t-1 but you will want to pass the data via PRI protocol in the SL-1 format.
