CDONTS with SQL Server

Hi ,
I am accesing CDONTS from SQL Server to send a mail through SMTP.
There is no problem if both IIS and SQL Server are in same machine.
But if both (IIS & SQL Server) are in different machine then I am having a problem.
1) Can I access CDONTS when SQL Server is on different machine.
2) Can I make CDONTS work in a machine where IIS is not there.

Try to install CDONTS on the SQL machine(i think it's cdonts.dll on your server machine - regsvr32 cdonts.dll)
