CDONTS "word" attachment does not open in f**ing MAC

Hi Big let down, when sending an attachment by CDONTS email the receiver with a PC can open the file fine. But the receiver of the email with a Mac cannot open it. I get

unknown error 1

cannot open attachment

Please is there a bright spark who knows how to overcome this prob
