CDONTS Problems

I have installed IIS on my Win2k workstation. I do all my development work on this PC. I have several ASP pages that run on my website which send emails using CDONTS. However, when I test these pages on my PC none of the emails get sent - even though I don't get error messages and I can't see the mails in any of the folders in my c:zinetpub\mailroot folder.

I'm not sure how the SMTP virtual server works. Can anyone give me some pointers??

On a previous Win2k PC that I used, this worked with no problems.

Have you verified that the SMTP listener is working by connecting via telnet on port 25 and sending a sample mailing? If so, is it processed as expected?

This doesn't answer your question specifically, of course, but does narrow it down a bit.
