CDONTS on XP

Hello

I have a problem with CDONTS. on my end whenever i try to send a mail using CDONTS, it gives an error that it can not create component CDONTS.
how can i install CDONTS on an XP server. plase help

CDONTS was originally intended to bephased out with 2000. Basically 2000 had both CDONTS and CDOSYS on it in order to help people phase out usage of CDONTS without just breaking all of their sites immediately. Windows XP does not have CDONTS on it at all. I have seen a few places where people have managed to get around this, but in all honesty I would suggest converting over, as CDOSYS has much better (and borader) functionality.
