Hello,
I have CDONTS working just fine, I just have one question.

When I send an email, how do I put a name in the from field so that it will display:

John Doe

But if youlook at the properties (if your a recipient) it will say something like : john.doe@somedomain.com ?

I dont know the technical term for it, but I think I kinda described it properly here.
thanx!

You're looking for "fromName", and CDONTS doesn't have that. :-(

Here's a reference table for the existing properties and methods, though:

Just use the following:

objCDO.From = "john.doe@somedomain.com(John Doe)"

This will do what you want. At least it works fine for me!! Mise Le Meas,

Mighty :)
