CDONTs error checking - Did it send it? Not in badmail

Hello everyone. I have created an .asp page, that attaches a textfile and sends it via the CDONTS mail object.

However, sometimes the mail is not sent, but it is not placed in the 'badmail' folder, or any folder for that matter. So I would like to know if CDONTs supports error checking.

It's really interesting, because I have a line reponse.write method that states that the mail has been sent, (which says it no matter what...bad idea huh) but the mail appears nowhere, and of course, not even in my mailbox.

So I guess I would like the reponse.write to say..."Not Sent" when it fails and "Sent" when it succeeds...

Any suggestions would be great!
