CDONT,s Question

I currently host my own sites on a win2000Aserver I use ASPmail to send email from my pages which works great but I have never been able to get CDONTs to work. Do I need to set up something on the server or install something on the server. Its is also used as a mail server with a 3rd party mail software installed which works ok.
Could anybody clear this up for me please.
