How do I setup a CDN for an incoming number?

Currently the incoming number has an ACD 7725 and some how routes to an existing CDN
-not sure where to look for this route, but I'd like to setup a new CDN for it so I can pass into Symposium.

Little confused about the differnce between ACDs and CDNs.

Any assistance would be much apprectiated!

an acd group is normally used for a lead number that you want a number of agents to answer. a control dn is used to send a dialed number to a ran, and group or another cdn. i can't tell from your post what you are trying to accomplish.

I would like to setup a CDN for this incoming number number, so that I can acquire the CDN via Symposium and set up appropriate treatments.

The number was inially setup as a spare 800 line which terminates on ACD 7725 and is currently directed to our call pilot, I just need to find out how to create a new CDN, then pass this through to the TN.

then make the cdn your inbound number, and use the acd as the dfdn..
