I am doing a test script for learning purposes. I have a question. I know that I have to aquire a CDN into Symposium and then reference that CDN in the Master Script, but if I want to create a new CDN what do I set the DFDN to? Can anyone explain that to me? I have printed out one of my CDN's below. I don't understand how the DFDN is relating to the process. Thanks TJ

The DFDN is the number the switch sends the call to if the SCCS does not "take control" of the call. For example, the CDN is not acquired or SCCS is down, the switch will take over and route the call to the DFDN (Default DN).

Usually this is an ACD on the switch that can take over and handle calls in basic switch-based C2 mode. But, it can be any number: a voice mail box, a forwarding number to another system, etc...
