CDML and Filemaker wtih BBEdit and dreamweaver

I've written a page in HTML and CDML which is surposed to input information from my web page into my database, I've copied the code straight from my quick start guide, and the web page shows up perfectly and when I press my submit button it all seems to work but when I go back to the filemaker database which is meant to recieve the information nothing seems to have happened.

Can anyone help?

The Database is open in Filemaker 4? 5? 6? and the webpage containing the CDML is being served by FileMaker Web Companion - you have the webpage in the "Web" folder in the FileMaker Folder AND you have set the database sharing to use Web Companion AND you are browsing the page using "

http://localhost/index.html"

UNLESS you have Web Companion set to another port such as 591 then it would be
"

http://localhost:591/index.html"

(or whatever the page name is)
