CDE Problem

I am adminitring 4 VISUALIZE C-180 having HP-UX 11.00 but 2 days before i got a problem in the machine due to the problem in the UPS.The machines shutdown abnormally which made the files systems corrupt and when i try to restart the system I get a login and password prompt.After entering the username and password the STARTING CDE ENVIRONMENT BLUE SCREEN appears. Nothing afterward nothing afterward and the secreen remains in the same position, but it works fine and all the services works fine i checked it through telnet,any one tell me how to solve the blue screen problem.

one more thing in another machine after rebooting it give the following message:

Suspending Deskop Login
Press[Enter]for login Prompt
login Desktop login will resume shortly after you logout

Resuming Desktop login
X-Server can not be started a display iqbal:0.....

Please any one have any idea regarding this , will be highly appreciated

Your first problem may be that something is wrong with one of the files for networking. Check your /etc/hosts, nsswitch.conf, and resolv.conf to make sure they are all correct.

The second problem looks like you might have a DISPLAY= statement in your .profile or another environment file that runs when you log in.

I have already checked /etc/hosts, /etc/nsswitch.conf, and /etc/resolv.conf every thing is alright there is no problem in these files.Do u have any other idea that how can i fix this problem.
and regarding the other problem i tried to find out the DISPLAY variable in .profile but i did'nt find any thing there.
plz suggest me regarding this.
