cde problem on HP-unix 10.2

I am using Exceed to get access to the HP. I get a login and password prompt. After entering the username and password
the STARTING CDE ENVIRONMENT BLUE SCREEN and HOURGLASS appears. Nothing afterward.

Xerrors file is showing /usr/bin/X11/xset: bad font path element (#40)


Telnet sessions into the system is okay and CDE worked ok last nite.

Does any one has any info?
