I am trialing CDC in Oracle 10g and have managed to set it up correctly and it seems to be working.
However, when any of the tables being monitored by CDC get inserted into or rows get updated there is a time lag of about 5-6 minutes before the CDC table is updated to reflect what has happened.
Does anyone know why there is such a long delay or have I done something wrong in the set up that is causing this.
Any help much appreciated.
