I'm trying to figure a way to give my win2000 domain users permission to burn cds without giving them admin rights.
Nero (5.5.5.1) tells me that this is possible when I install the app but I've yet to find it anywhere.
What's weird is that there was no problem under NT...they'd log on and be able to burn cds happily...but under win2k, no such happiness...it denies them access to the burner.
I've tried changing security on the app itself and also in the registry to no avail.
Adding the domain user account to the local admin group is not an option nor is "Run as" viable so if anyone's got any other ideas, I'd be grateful. :)

I have the same problem and did not how to figure out. If tryied the same as as you...
