I seem to be having a problem. When doing a complete backup of my system, I get a message that tells me my F drive(cd-rw) wasn't recognized. Here's the issue. It works fine when creating music cd's and data cd's, just not a system backup. Is there something I'm missing???

Win2k Pro
256mb ram
C drive = 20gig Maxtor
D drive = 10gig IBM
933mhz PIII

The drive won't work with the back up app that came with Win2k Pro or with Roxio EZ-CD creator 5. I get the same message.

Are you using this drive to do a backup? If not it won't recognize it because it thinks it's a drive with info on it. If there's no CD in it is can't read the info it thinks should be there.
