I recently started using a cd-rom tower that was collecting dust. I put a few disks in to try it and everything is fine from windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 and even XP If I use IE. When I browse the network on all the XP Pro wkstas it finds the tower -> lists the disks then it comes to a scretching halt once I hit any of the CD's themselves. Anyone have any Ideas?

The one I had (under Win98) had a client that you used to mount the individual disk. You could browse the device list without the client, but you had to use the client to mount/unmount the individual CD.
