Lately I have been having a problem when trying to start a particular game - "Dragon's Lair 3D - Return to the Lair."
Sometimes when I click on the icon to start the game I get the following error message:
CANNOT LOCATE THE CD-ROM.
PLEASE EJECT AND REINSERT THE CD-ROM, SELECT OK AND RESTART THE APPLICATION.
I do as the message indicates but get the same message again.
If I restart the PC the problem goes away. The other thing I don't quite understand is when the system is restarting it acts as if I updated Windows 98 se. I get a message during boot up indicating the system is being updated.
I get the feeling there's something wrong in the registry, and if that is so, how would I fix it? Of course the problem could have nothing to do with the registry.
Any help would be appreciated.
