Hi all,

I bought some Mac development software (2nd hand off ebay.com) but one of the CDs is not mounting on the Mac desktop. I've put this down to the disk having a scratch or defect or something and have tried all kinds of methods of trying to get it to mount (FWB, SCSI probe, etc).
However, I can view and access the disk on a PC by using the shareware utility "TransMac" which reads Mac disks on PCs.
Now, when I write a CD on the PC (in ISO or Joliet format) with the necessary files, it is still unreadable on the Mac.
The Mac has system 8.6 and has all the usual foreign file access, etc. extensions in the system.
Does anybody have any idea why the Mac is not reading any of these disks or does anybody know a work around?

I can't network the PC and Mac because I haven't got "Dave" software or a network card in the PC.

Thanks PT, I managed to cure this problem - apparently, the CD-R media I was using to write CDs with on the PC was naff. I tried a different brand and the CD shows up on the Mac no problem.
I'll certainly keep that in mind about Toast though if this is a problem other people have experienced.
