cd player audio(mp3)/video (avi/divx/mpeg) player

Hey,
I am totally new to this. I have never played music, video before in redhat7.2. Advise please. What should I be using ??
To see avi/divx/mpeg movies, listen mp3 and audio cd's, etc. I have a cd-r/rw which I have succesfully used to play the above files in win2k.

for mp3 i prefer xmms
for mpeg's i guess you could use xine, but i just use that for dvd's.
i believe mplayer plays all sorts of .avi's, .mov's, and such.

Yup, plumb forgot about xmms. I think it even comes bundled with RH 7.2
