Help, I'm about to loose it!
I am running ME on a Gateway PC with a Matshita DVD-ROM SR-8586. The drive can be seen from windows explorer and shows on control pannel as working. Discs can be accessed fine from applications.
HOWEVER, windows explorer and windows is not recognising discs - says that blank discs are loaded.
If I Remove the drive and restart then the problem is fixed - however, it reoccurs on a further restart!!
Any ideas??
