Hi, at me office we've got Microsoft Visual Studio 6 installed on a few machines, but the installer CD(s) have been lost.
However, I wish to install VBS6 on my machine. Is it possible to:
1) Copy the Program Files -> Microsoft Visual Studio folder over to my machine
2) Run the same executable that the "installed" version runs
3) As VBS6 returns fatal error messages saying "foo32.dll" is missing, copy those dlls from the "parent" machine and register them using regsvr32, until there are no more error messages returned?
Anybody think this is a workable solution, or would it cause me more frustration and long-term headaches than anything?
Thanks in Advance,
rs
