CD Autoplay on AIX ?

Is there a way on AIX 5.2 to have a program/script auto executed on CD incertion - just as Windows can do ?
I mean without evemt mounting the CD - some automount function will be used ?

You mean like the security bug in Windows?

No. But you can automount it if you want to. In fact there's a new easy to use automounter in 5.2 but I haven't tried it.
In case of autorun, which user did you want it to run as? And with what permissions?

Actualy as root.
It should run some maintenance script that will verify the system configuration and prompt the results to the user+log file.
