We all know that the Nortel Licensing system is about as clear as mud.

How do I check the license agent count for CCT 5.0?

if you go to Start-Nortel-Symposium TAPI then go to the license tab and test the keycode...you will see the agent count there.

That is how you check the tapi count. What about agent count?

With Symposium Agnet we had a Tapi license, and an Agent license.

If you're using 5.0, you should still be using the classic client.
Login to classic client, expand Reports and Displays, expand Statistics Configuration.
Open Historical Statistics.
A window will open with tabs - go to the Parameters tab.
Look for: Agent Positions

This is concurrent users (not per user profile). So, that number represents how many agents can be logged in at any given time.

Sorry... I misread the CCT 5.0 - my brain fogged and interpreted SCCS 5.0. Please disregard my lack of attention! :)

Ok, Figured it out. Since Nortl no longer provides the agent , the only licese that they charge for on CCT is TAPI license.

It makes sense, just did not know if they were going to pull a MS and charge an access license.

Couple questions on this:

1 - I thought the new CCT did not use TAPI. I was under the impression that it used another protocol to communicate phone-to-pc. So is TAPI still a component in the new CCT architecture?

2 - If they are charging a TAPI license, do you have to buy a quantity of licenses that equates to the number of phone-to-pc sessions/profiles, or is it just one license that enables the usage of the application (no matter how many profiles)?
