Is there any way that I can prevent a caller from connecting to the operator when they push zero(0). Even if we do not verbalize this in the introduction speech- most callers try to bypass and go directly to the receptionist /operator by pressing 0, again we dont list it as an option in the home menu -- they are just catching on to other voice systems that mention this--"Press 0 to talk to an operator"

SO,

How do I prevent the receptionist/operator from being called again when someone pushes the zero (0) key when listening to the message. When they push zero (0) I would prefer that they either get conencted to another extension or even return to hear the "home menu" again.

Thank you

We are on NOrstar Voice mail 4.0. the tree is built already .I am not familiar with the atdt prompt ??

Feature 983 - Log in - 1020000 (if using three digit exts)
Go into AA
Table
Table #1 then ok
Hit next until you see ATDT. Set it to none.

At any time durning the auto attendant prompt the caller can be transferred to any extension by simply dialing it.

You know....
"If you know your party's extension, you may dial it at any time."
