I need recommendations for putting CCR, VMPRO, and CS on one server. Should i get a beefed up server and make them virtual machines or maybe put the VMPRO on the server and then CCR and CS on a virtual machine? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

It does work, with a couple of caveats:

1) you need to meet specs... IIRC, CCR has the heaviest requirements, so make sure you meet them, probably not minimum specs either. You'll also to need the minimum specs of whatever version of SQL you're installing.

2) CCR and VMPro only work for 16 VM ports or less.

3) CS requires (strongly recommends) that the service store recordings in a separate partition, or on a separate drive. Otherwise it will simply fill up the existing drive, and you'll have one laggy server.

I've never tried virtual machines.
