CCR repeat keys clarification

On a greeting table you can program a menu repeat key to be 1 - 8, but it seems it only works during the play of the AA greeting message. After that, when you enter the CCR menu it becomes unavailable and you have to use * to return to the previous menu?

Can anyone clear this up for me? I hate trying to explain this to customers who are looking for a solid answer so they can create accurate scripts.

Try recording all of your instructions to the caller in the CCR home menu prompt. The greeting that plays before the CCR could be a simple "Good morning" or "Thank you for calling ABC Company".

Wouldn't that basically make the menu repeat key unusable?
