Hi
This seems to have raised it's head a few times, but could find a resolution, also think this is slightly different.

Customer tries to change or add a time to reset Real Time Stats.
When clicking update, we get the message

An unexpected error occurred which has been logged

(Although why ANY error with CCR should be unexpected is beyond me ;)

The time seems to be recorded, but no reset has ever occurred.
Also, upon getting the rror message above, the Printer Discovery Service goes Faulted. To get back working, I clear the App Event Log, this restarts the PDS but causes the Data Anaylyser Service to lose connection, which must then be restarted.

What a complete bag of shite.

can anyone help?? pls??

Thanks

Dave

A few of us on here are Xima resellers now, that would certainly help. I gave up trying to figure out what goes wrong with CCR long ago and just stopped selling it :)

Does the Xima software just, like, work?
Not sure we could cope with such a novelty!!

hmmm....

OK, try a reinstall of CCR over the existing install - you wont loose any info / settings.

Make sure the service that prompts you for a user/pass is an administrator account on the server.

You buy direct. set yourselves up as a reseller on their website, or call them and speak to Cody.

support at the moment is via their US office which is 5 hours behind.

but in saying that, there isnt too much to support.....

Sounds promising!

Few questions...

Do engineers need a course, or it easy enough to install by the documenmtation?

Do you use your own in house trainers to train end users?

(Actually never got the whole end user training thing around phone systems...I never got training on my new PC, my new Car, my new TV etc etc)

Once you sign up there are 3 webinar training sessions you need to do, about 1 hr each, nothing major. TBH just download the Demo and try installing it, I did it without even using any docs never mind training and had it running in under 10 mins :)

same here, and if andy can do it - any Muppet can ;-)

I find the wallboard the most fiddly part to learn, but once you are happy with a format.... its easy!

Thanks for your input guys.
Will def have a look at the trial - after I get back from my hols :)

How does it comparte price wise to CCR - retail price I mean, I guess you cant disclose reseller pricing.

Thats rather good, most 3rd party applications at least ned the 3rd Party TAPI license.

I will check this out and then pitch to the sales team!

Thnaks for all the input.
I found the solution to the problem in the end.
We installed a Shoretel (Only joking)
The password that the Priter discovery service logs on with had changed, and you have to run an application in
Prog files\Avaya\IPOCCR\CCRWebClient\CCRPrinterDiscoveryService
called SBCCServicePassword

All worked after that, but what a PITA
