Has anyone managed to sort out the performance of CCR when running reports that contain a lot of Data.

Say - 60 agents, 2000 calls / day and a months call reports (Summary, Details, and worst of all - report cards)

These monthly reports take hours and hours and sometimes never.

I'm no SQL expert and I've tweaked what I can.

Im going to have to create several instances of the same report just with fewer agents I suspect.

2000 calls is not very ipo like.
it is a lot and i am a big fan of the ipo but this sounds like too much for the little box.

What are the specs of that server?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

server is a dell R210 Xeon 2.4Ghz Quad core, 4GB RAM, SAS RAID Drives.

Win2k8R2, SQL 2K8R2 upgraded from Express to STD

That looks like a cheap box to me :)
Don;t you have a more powerfull server?

How big is the database at the moment?
It sounds like a full database but i do not know if it has a limit?

lol - its more than enough for this job......
2.4 Gh is not that much.
If it is very active (and it is with 2000 calls a day) then i am not sure if it is enough.
What are the specs of the sql server itself?

well, CCR addresses only 10GB of the total SQL DB.

It is pretty full, but thats no excuse.

So it is CCR and the SQL on the same server?
I agree with you that it does have the specs :)
I am just thinking with you.

When you manually create weekly reports, does it hang too?

smaller reports are OK.

I'm convinced its SQL.

SQL and CCR are on the same box.

I dont really want to ask the customer for another £2000 for a new server JUST to run ONE instance of SQL.

I might pull some favours from a customer and get some SQL help.

also, this is just a DDI summary report for a months stats.... its also a killer.

What browser do you use to get the report?

BAZINGA!

IE8

Im sure the same issue with any browser.

I might try FF on the server then

When it is only a monthly report then i could live with using smaller times but i would let Avaya have a look!
What do they say about this?

BAZINGA!

they arent saying anything. issue is the guy who made CCR has never been in a call centre, and when they tested this, it was a few test calls into their test kit, then shipped out the door.

You should raise a case.
When you have the option then it should work fine :)

interesting.

FF finished one of the reports IE didnt.

192,000 calls for the month ;-)

Cool, That will cost you 2 support hours
I will send you the bill! :)
