CCR - Alternative Wallboards

Hi Everyone

Here is an odd question that someone MAY have the answer to.

I'm looking for an alternative wallboard than the ones provided with CCR.

Using the Silverlight plug in is a No-No. So I was wondering if anyone had just written their own to look at the MSSQL database and present the information as a simple webpage, maybe reloading using javascript or somthing!

If you dont ask, you dont get - so I thought I'd ask!

Silly question but why is the Silverlight plug in a No-No?

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

There isnt any thing comercially available. I also doubt Avaya will release any APIs for a developer to make their own either.

best option is to change reporting package to something like Chronicall by Xima - its all Java and web based.

Silverlight isnt an option as its to be integrated into an existing wall board solution (showing News24 and powerpoint) alongside a frame showing the webpage...

...install a plugin, and the support contract gets voided... nice eh?

Any reason (apart from cost) Chronicall couldnt run alongside CCR?

Avaya release the Database information for writing custom reports, maybe the wallboard information can be obtained from this?

Chronicall can run along side CCR - Chronicall uses system monitor ports to obtain call records and information - where CCR uses SSA ports.

Oak Display can display info from an xml file and can include video streams too - ias that the sort of thing you're looking for?
