Hi guys....

Just a quick question....

Sitting CCNA shortly and from there i am keen to sit my CCNP exams, just really wanted some input from people on how they found the CCNP track?

How much is each exam and in what order do people recommend sitting them.

Thanks again

Ive done BSCI and BCMSN and about to sit BCRAN, I did them in that order. No reason, but I did find it easier I think.

BSCI was really hard! and BCMSN was really easy but Ive heard people say different things.

It is a big step up from CCNA, but a lot of it follows on well, I think of CCNA as a generalisation and CCNP as more specialised.

The cost for each exam is $125 US dollars at a Prometric or VUE testing site. The CCNP track is definitely much more challenging that CCNA because they go into so much more detail than before.

It honestly doesn't make a difference which tests is taken in which order but I would reccomend taking Routing and Switching before Remote Access. Reason being is that concepts learned from the first two are used on the second. In addition, concepts from all three are used on Troubleshooting so people like to take it last.

I found troubleshooting to be the most challenging. Routing and switching I passed with flying colors. Remote access was more difficult but not as bad Troubleshooting.

Don't listen to people who say that Routing is the hardest. Its just that there is a ton of informaiton and it is usually the first CCNP test people take so they don't know what to expect.
