I am about to start getting ready for CCNA certification and would like to get some recommendations on self-study materials. I will be doing self-study since classes are rather expensive. I appreciate any response. Thanks

has some excellent resources.

If you search google on CCNA <anything> you will see that there are a few bazillion sites out there with certification help. Everyone has their favorites.

As far as books go, wander by your local stores and actually try to read some of them. There are large differences in the way they are all written and it can make a difference.
