Hey guy's

I am almost done with the ICND portion or 2nd half of lammle's 5th edition of ccna and wanted to know if any of you can recommend any exam prep's like exam cram, exam force, or i have seen one from 'thebryantadvantage' that has 550 unique questions. Susposedly i can customize the the type of questions the software will ask so I can hit the weak points. i have a copy of a testking but honestly when I was thumbing through it in prepartion for the ccna intro, i found alot of mistakes, and it made me 2nd guess sometimes. Ijust want to get some test question practice so that I know where my weak areas are an fix them. Has anyone used exam software like bryantadvange or examforce?

Thanks

NettableWalker,
Thanks for your response. Did you use this for preparation? This is not like testking right?

Hi,

I used the TestKing CCNA practice tests about 3 months ago and got through the test first time.

I found a few errors in some of the questions, but in the main, they were good and very close to the types of question in the exam. In fact, some of them were almost identical...I wonder how they do it ??

Testking is a braindump.

You're far better off using some good books and putting the time in on hands-on labs. This way you will learn the material rather than just learning answers.

For test practice, it's definitely worthwhile going to as they have loads of questions.

Thanks guys for posting.

I am just about finished with the sybex book (2005), I have chapter 11 to finish and from there I will take a look at some of the suggestions posted. I just wasnt sure if any of you out there were using the material like Testking or exam force software for test prep. I am more of a exam simulator person vs reading the and answering the questions via testking. Like I said I have even found that testking is off on some of its answers. I do have LearnKeys cbt course and TestOuts software but have not view them. I will though when I get the chance. If anyone else has suggesstions on exam prep I would appreciate it.

Thanks

In the past, I've used for Novell Exams. Donwloaded the demo for BSCI and liked what I saw there. At least in the Novell world it was always very similar to the live exam.

Currently I purchased a practice test from Have to say, I was not at all impressed. I'm hoping it is only for the specific test I've been working on (BSCI). I've found a lot of confusing mistakes in the exam for questions (asking what command produces the following output for EIGRP and the selections are all OSPF commands), and the lab simulations are good, but the simulation engine needs work as well as the need to be consistent in whether or not commands can be short-cutted or not.

The really nice part about it however is if you've purchased the audio training from preplogic, you can link the two together and get the explanation from the audio cd. As well as they have provided good links out to various websites to help explain further. And the feature I really like seeing is the ability to provide feedback to questions. I've got my hopes up high that someday I'll download the update and the questions I've provided feedback on will be fixed.

Cisco's CCNA prep center also has a couple of links to some free online practice exams that were pretty good.
