We currently have CCMS7 link (symposium link) on our nortel which our Genesys enviroment connects to. Unfortunatly you can not monitor trunks within Genesys on a nortel. We had previously used MTE to monitor trunks etc but our switch people turned the service off on the CCMS server "due to it no longer being supported by Nortel/Avaya".
Can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting the realtime trunk status's? Is there some kind of sql database that CCMS uses to operate? The only way that I know of currently,is to run a trace through a procomm terminal.
I would like to be able to simply query the database (if there is one) through an odbc connection... whether that is with access or other..... I would appreciate any help or comments! Thanks!
