CCME and NON-Cisco Phones

I am looking to add a few VOIP phones to our CCME Voip service.

Does it require me to actually buy a license for each non cisco phone to be added to CCME?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think since CCME is not a SIP compatible system (only SCCP), you won't be able to use another brand of phone.
