Hey all- We just upgraded to CCMA/CCMS 6.0. We have 1 CCMA server that we use to administer 6 CCMS servers. This CCMA server also provides consolidated real time data. So- when I launch the web page from the CCMA server itself, real time data from all 6 CCMS sites looks good proving multicast data from all CCMS servers to CCMA is fine. However when I open the web page from a client machine (any machine other the CCMA server actually) I only see consolidated real time data for 5 of the 6 sites. So from server I see all 6, but from a client machine only 5 show up. Client sessions in our environment are unicast. This same setup worked fine on our old SWC server. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
PMoggs

Is it always the same site that does not show up?

CCMA can push supervisor displays out unicast or mulitcast. As long as you can see it on the CCMA, you should be able to see it on the web client PC.

Please update with the solution when it's found.

Yes- always same location. WAN not enabled to allow for multicast data so that is why we typically have unicast connections. We have GRE tunnels in place across WAN to allow for multicast between CCMSs and CCMA.

I know- if I can see at server why can't I see at client PC?

I will post update after resolved.

How do you log in at the client PC - as a user? Does this user have the right Partition and Access Class?

When you use the multicast utility on the CCMS, note the name of CCMS server attached to the data being sent to the CCMA. Then run the multicast trace tool on the CCMA and see if the hostname of the original CCMS server is the same, or different. Keep in mind that the CCMA repackages the data and sends it out to the client pc. So, the issue may be related to DNS.
