Hi Has anybody upgraded to CCM4.0 SP3 ?
We have problem such as "report service crashing on server side, while getting agent availability report"
We got the HF3.09 after installed it it seemed to be ok but 1 week later it's just the same...
Does aynbody have the same situation?

We have CCM4 SP3 Hotfix 109 but it doesn't have this problem. We are using win 2k sp4 and sql 2k sp3.

Hi meltitdown..
did you try agent availability report group by agent report?
(with 10 agents e.g)
i think this is a case on CCM4.0 SP3
Also what does HF1.09 include?
would you please copy and paste the corrections?
Because we didn't install it..

I just did some reports with out any problems, agent availability grouped by agent.

It is Hotfix 3.09 (sorry)

For the clients it is a new sqldb.dll and for the server it is a cmd file to update the SP's for agent availabilty plus the dll and dbmt.exe

so if you have HF3.09 then you can directly view the file upstp and see what is going. I used the hotfix and it didn't fix the problem in the release notes which is incorrect data in the reports on agent availability.

We use a domain account for the report service. This is to aid problems with Scheduled reports though.

Hi meltitdown
i saw a upstp.sql file on the server in c:\temp2 directory,
and did what the instruction told us...And this file is the original one sent by our vendor.
There are ~40 CCM clients and some of them may be didn't upgrade the sqldb.dll file to the newest one.May be we missed some of 4 or 5.
Do you know how does the sqldb.dll file on clients, effect to server?

Regards..
HF (3.09)
From SQL Server machine where CCM database is resided

1) Copy updb.bat, uptblsp3.sql and upstp.sql files into temp directory
2) From the command prompt run the following command from the temp directory where the files are stored:
updb [temp directory] [sql password] [sql server name] [ccm database name]

example:
updb c:\temp ? bt-malibu ccmdb1
where
c:\temp where the files are located
bt-mailbu is the SQL Server name where nextccdb is resided
passord is null in this case (enter ? if the password is null)

At the end of the execution, a message will display whether the CCM database setup is successful or not.
